Lenoir County Public Schools proudly hosted a successful EC Connections Fair on April 1st, bringing together families, educators and community partners to connect with essential resources and services for exceptional children.
The event served as an invaluable opportunity for families to learn more about the support available to help their children thrive at school, at home, and in the community. Jessica Murphy, Autism Specialist at LCPS, emphasized the event’s impact, stating, “The EC Connections Fair is more than an event, it’s a bridge. It connects our families with the resources, services, and support systems that empower our exceptional children to thrive.”
The fair also highlighted the importance of collaboration between families, schools and local organizations. Fellow Autism Specialist Kameron Watson reflected on the importance of these connections, saying, “When families, educators, and community partners come together, amazing things happen. The EC Connections Fair is a celebration of that collaboration, a chance to ensure every child has the tools they need to succeed.”
